Gender Lens Investing - PLENARY PANEL
The McKinsey Global Institute estimates that narrowing the global gender gap could add US $12 trillion in annual gross domestic product. Bridging the gap will require leadership and investment by the public and private sectors. We will explore gender lens investing in its three major forms: investing in women-led businesses, investing in companies that promote gender diversity in their workplaces, and investing in companies that advance gender equality through their product and service offerings. This session will explore the role that corporations play as investors and as targets of investment, and the role that gender integration can play in creating new opportunities for investment and business growth.
